今日もANAの翼をご利用いただき、誠にありがとうございます。

どこまでも広がる夏の青空に、力強い入道雲が湧き上がる季節となりました。機内に一歩足を踏み入れると、これから始まる旅への高揚感に包まれます。

「夏の旅」と聞いて思い出深いのは、行くたびに新しい発見をくれる北海道です。初めて夏の北海道を訪れたのは1981年、高校の修学旅行でした。上野駅から夜行列車に揺られ、連絡船を乗り継いで函館まで14時間弱。そこからバスで道央や道東を巡る、長い移動そのものが冒険のような5日間でした。雄大な北の大地に深く感動したのを、今でも鮮明に覚えています。

その旅の終わり、千歳（現・新千歳）空港から乗った全日空68便、ボーイング747が、私にとって初めてのANA便でした。往路の14時間が嘘のように、あっという間に羽田へ到着した驚きと利便性。それが、私がANAという会社を選び、航空の世界へ飛び込む原点となりました。

その後すっかり北海道のファンとなり、2010 年からは札幌で3年間勤務する機会に恵まれました。毎週のように羽田と札幌を往復する中、空港のドアが開き、一歩外に出た瞬間のあの爽やかな気配を肌で感じるのが好きでした。当時、地下鉄の窓には風鈴が飾られており、冷房のない車内も涼やかにしてくれたのが懐かしく思い出されます。東京とは全く異なる、言葉にできないほど凛と澄んだ空気。素晴らしい自然や食事、そして温かい人々との出会いを通じて、いつしか札幌は私にとって「第二の故郷」と呼べる大切な場所になりました。

時間をかけて大地を進む旅の情緒も、一瞬で新しい世界へと心をつなぐ空の旅も、どちらも移動そのものに純粋なワクワク感が詰まっています。私たちが本当にお届けしたいのは、単なる目的地への移動手段ではなく、「ANAの翼に乗った瞬間から、もう新しい物語が始まっている」と、心から楽しんでいただける時間です。

世代を超えて満喫できる夏の北海道はもちろん、皆さまが目指すそれぞれの目的地での素晴らしい体験を、私たちがお手伝いできればこれ以上の喜びはありません。どうぞ、思い出に残る最高の夏旅をお楽しみください。

The Beginning of a New Story

It is the season of boundless blue skies and towering white clouds. Stepping into the cabin, you are instantly enveloped in a scene of exhilaration for the journey ahead.

When I hear the words “summer trip,” Hokkaido, a destination that always holds new discoveries, immediately comes to mind. My first summer trip to Hokkaido was in 1981 on a high school excursion. Rocking on an overnight train from Ueno Station, then transferring to a ferry, the journey to Hakodate took nearly 14 hours. From there, we toured central and eastern Hokkaido by bus, and those five days of travel were a true adventure. I still vividly remember the profound emotion I felt at the grandeur of the northern landscape.

At the end of that trip, I boarded ANA NH 68, a Boeing 747, at Chitose Airport (now New Chitose Airport). It was my first flight with ANA. I was astounded by how quickly we arrived at Haneda, making the 14-hour outbound journey seem almost like an illusion. This sheer awe at the speed and convenience became the starting point for my decision to choose ANA and dive into the aviation industry.

After that trip, I fell in love with Hokkaido, and in 2010, I had the opportunity to work in Sapporo for three years. Commuting between Haneda and Sapporo almost every week, I loved feeling the refreshing breeze on my skin as soon as the airport doors opened and I stepped outside. I fondly recall the wind chimes hanging by the subway windows, bringing a cool, soothing touch to the un-air-conditioned cars. The air was indescribably crisp and pure, completely different from Tokyo. Thanks to its magnificent nature, delicious food, and the kindness of its people, Sapporo eventually became a place I cherished and considered my second home.

Whether it is the charm of taking your time to journey across the land or a flight that instantly transports you to a new world, both are imbued with the pure excitement of travel. What we truly wish to offer is not merely a means of transportation to a destination, but a joyous time where you feel that “a new story has already begun the moment you board ANA’s wings.”
