光の春、3月。空の色も街の景色も明るさを取り戻し、本格的な春の訪れが待ち遠しい季節となりました。
新しい季節の光に背中を押され、次の一歩を踏み出し始めている方も多いのではないでしょうか。こうした春の訪れとともに、ANAの国際線は3月3日、定期便就航40周年を迎えます。振り返れば、この40年は決して平坦な道のりではありませんでした。
世界情勢の変化や経済の荒波、時にはお客様より乗務員のほうが多い便もありました。そしてパンデミックという、「空を飛ぶこと」の意義そのものが問われる困難な局面も経験いたしました。
それでも私たちは歩みを止めず、路線や便数を少しずつ広げながら、お客様一人ひとりに寄り添ったサービスをお届けできるよう、地道な努力を積み重ねてまいりました。
昨年、その結実として大きな評価をいただく機会に恵まれました。
英国SKYTRAX社（注1）による13年連続の「5スター」に加え、APEX（注2）の最高評価「WORLD CLASS」認定、世界的メディアであるAir Transport World誌およびFlight Global社からも最高賞を同時受賞する快挙を成し遂げました（注3）。
これらの栄誉は、安全と品質を守り続けてきた社員一人ひとりの努力の結晶であり、何より、ANAを信じ、支え続けてくださったお客様のおかげです。この誌面をお借りし、心より御礼申し上げます。
40周年という節目に際し、私たちは新たな中期経営戦略を発表しました。これからANAは、AIやデジタルの力を活用し、空の旅をスムーズでストレスフリーなものへと進化させていきます。しかし、どれだけテクノロジーが進んでも、旅の真の価値を決めるのは「人」であると私たちは信じています。
これまで以上にお客様の声に耳を傾け、「最高の体験」をお届けするために、「人の力」すなわち「社員の力」をさらに磨き続けることをお約束いたします。
現在、世界に目を向けると、分断や対立という厳しい現実が続いています。価値観の違いや距離が、時に人と人との間に見えない壁をつくってしまうこともあるでしょう。そんな時代だからこそ、人と人をつなぐ私たちの役割はかつてないほど大きくなっていると感じています。
国境を越えて出会い、言葉を交わし、互いを知る。
そうしたリアルな交流こそが、心の距離を近づけ、壁を取り除き、その先の新しい挑戦やワクワクする価値を生み出すきっかけになると信じています。
「出会い」は、世界の未来をよりよい方向へと動かすエネルギーです。その出会いを後押しすることこそ、私たちが「空を飛ぶ」理由にほかなりません。
国際線定期便就航40周年は、私たちにとって新たな出発点です。これからも安全運航を堅持し、世界中のお客様のため、そして夢と希望にあふれる未来のために、全力を尽くしてまいります。これからのANAに、どうぞご期待ください。

Why We Fly Through the Sky
In March, spring, or the season of light, is just around the corner.
The sky and streets go back to their vibrant self, and we all eagerly wait for the official arrival of spring.
The bright light of this new season pushes many of us forward as we start a new chapter.
Along with the arrival of spring, ANA celebrates the 40th anniversary of our regular international service on March 3rd. Looking back on these past 40 years, it was a long and bumpy road.
We navigated geopolitical shifts, tough economic times, and even operated flights with more crew members than passengers. We also had to face a pandemic, which was a challenging period that questioned the very meaning of flying.
Despite all this, we have always persevered. Step by step, we expanded routes and flights while staying committed to delivering personalized service to each passenger.
Last year, we were very fortunate to receive significant recognition for these efforts.
ANA has been awarded the highest 5-Star rating from the UK-based SKYTRAX (Note 1) for the 13th consecutive year, as well as the highest WORLD CLASS rating from APEX (Note 2). We also received top awards from the globally recognized magazine Air Transport World, as well as FlightGlobal (Note 3).
These awards are the culmination of the hard work of every one of our employees who has remained dedicated to maintaining safety and quality. Above all, they are made possible by our passengers, who have placed their trust in ANA and continued to support us. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude.
As we reach our 40th anniversary milestone, we have announced a new mid-term business plan.
Moving forward, ANA will make use of AI and digital technologies to make air travel a smoother, more stress-free experience.
However, we still believe that no matter how advanced technology becomes, only people can ultimately determine the true value of travel.
We are committed to valuing our passengers’ feedback more than ever before, and to refining our resourcefulness. In other words, we believe in the strength of our employees to deliver the best journey possible.
Looking at the world today, we can see that division and conflict are still a harsh reality. Value differences and distance can sometimes create invisible barriers between people.
In such times, we feel that our role of bridging the gap between people has never been more important.
Crossing borders to meet each other, exchange words, get to know one another…
I am confident that these real interactions are what bring hearts closer, tear down walls, and spark new challenges and exciting value.
Encounters are the energy that moves the world’s future in a better direction. We fly to encourage these encounters.
The 40th anniversary of our regular international service marks a new beginning for us.
We will continue to ensure safe operations and strive to provide a future filled with dreams and hope for all our passengers worldwide.

光之春天，三月。
天空的颜色与城市的景致重新找回了明亮，真正的春天令人愈发期待。
在新一季的光芒推动下，想必也有许多人正开始迈出新的步伐。
伴随着这样的春到来，全日空的国际航线于3月3日迎来定期航班开通40周年。回首往昔，这40年的历程绝非一条平坦之路。
国际局势的变化、经济的惊涛骇浪之中，曾经也有过机组人员比乘客还多的航班。此外，我们还经历了疫情这一艰难局面，这是一个让“飞翔”的意义本身都受到质疑的时期。
即便如此，我们依然没有停下脚步，而是在逐步拓展航线与航班数量的同时，持续进行脚踏实地的努力，只为向每一位乘客提供贴心的服务。
而在去年，这些努力终于开花结果，我们也有幸获得高度的认可与评价。
除了连续13年获得英国SKYTRAX公司（注1）的“五星”认证之外，我们还荣获APEX（注2）最高评价的“WORLD CLASS”认证，并同时斩获世界级媒体《Air Transport World》杂志及 FlightGlobal公司颁发的最高奖项（注3）。
这些荣誉，是每一位始终坚守安全与品质的员工努力所凝聚的成果；更重要的是，离不开始终信任并支持全日空的各位乘客。谨借此版面，向大家致以由衷的感谢。
值此迎来40周年这一重要里程碑之际，我们也发布了全新的中期经营战略。
展望未来，全日空将充分运用AI与数字技术的力量，不断推动空中旅行向更加顺畅、无压力的方向进化。

跨越国境相遇，彼此交谈，互相了解。

“相遇”，是推动世界未来迈向更美好方向的能量。而促成这样的相遇，正是我们“飞翔”的真正理由。
国际航线定期航班开航40周年，对我们而言，是一个全新的起点。
今后，我们将一如既往地坚守安全运行，为全球的乘客、也为充满梦想与希望的未来倾尽全力、不断前行。
